MSTN Custom Precision 16″ Recce Carbine with Proof CFW Barrel

$3,650.00

You can’t believe how relieved I am to once again have all of the parts in stock necessary to build up a few more top shelf AR’ based weapons. Here we have a Recce Carbine concept built with the finest of components. The base rifle weighs 6 LB 9 OZ. The heart of this build is a Proof 16″ carbine fiber wrapped .223 barrel with Wylde chamber, 1×8 twist, and all-important intermediate length gas system – ordered almost a year ago. Supporting this superbly accurate barrel is a long out of stock Santan STT-15 ambi billet receiver set – None finer anywhere. You have an SLR adjustable gas block under a Geissele Mk 14 13.5″ rail. There’s a Surefire MB556 muzzle brake out front. (Note that I also have the Surefire SOCOM556 RC2 suppressor in stock.) The Geissele SCH charging handle operates a top shelf bolt carrier group consisting of a JP Enhanced Bolt, DLC coated, inside a Young Manufacturing National Match bolt carrier, hard chromed and then Ionbond DLC coated. The recoil system is the vastly under-appreciated Vltor A5, best made for precision application. The TriggerTech Adaptable trigger, adjustable between 2.5 and 5 LB, is set light for precision application. It is supported by V Seven titanium fire control pins. Also in titanium by V Seven are the receiver end plate and tube nut, ambi safety, buffer stop, and grip screw. Magpul supplied the SLR buttstock and MOE pistol grip. The translucent 30-RD magazine is from Lancer. The amazing Kahles K16i scope and Spuhr mount ARE NOT INCLUDED in the price, but can be had – sighted in – for an additional $2400. The Kahles K18i is also available, as are Surefire tactical lights, magazines by Magpul plus Lancer, Blue Force Gear Vickers sling, and much more. The rifle will ship in a fitted, padded hard plastick case by Patriot Cases.
